I use oil draining pan but they make a mess because it splashes and the cap on the spout leaks. Any recommendation for good quality enclosed pans?
Also do you know any low height dollies that is under 24", or should I be using a 5 gallon bucket + wheels for the task?
I'd fix the one you have.. I have one of these...
what I did was cut a 5 gallon bucket to make a 4-5" wall that sits in the pan inside the raised lip..
the spout leaking is easy fix.. glue an o ring to the inside of the cap, that just fits inside the cap..
done..
I made a few different height walls, as some of my vehicles are lower than others.. like the truck.. is much taller..
I also use/commandeered one of the wife's, big plant roller thingy
it is like this one..
rolls right under the vehicle.. I took an old junk speaker and cut off the magnet and it sits under the planter wheeler, I added liquid nails to help it stay there, and have some cheap spare wrenches for all the oil pan drain plugs stuck to the magnet, this way when I'm under the vehicle, I don't go " *&^%$#$ I forgot the wrench..
another speaker magnet holds the oil filter wrenches...
simple and cheap..
