Can anyone give me a recommendation on a good PDR guy in the Cleveland OH area... or should I just go with Dent Wizard b/c they are a large chain.

I kind of like the idea of a guy comming to my house to do the work in my garage while I watch the majic...

Anyone know any good PDR guys in North East Ohio?

Can't help you much in the Cleveland area - but generally speaking Dent Wizard is "OK".

My son, who does PDR in the LA area, "apprenticed" with them for a few years when he was 1st starting out. He left them a few years later and chased hail storms for a few year, made a bunch of money and now is REALLY good.

If you were in the LA area, I could help you out.

In Cleveland - Dent Wizard is as good as any.

YMMV

yeah, I know a local Porsche dealer uses Dent Wizard (can find that on DW website) but some other high end dealers do not. I will call around...

Thanks!

Lack of replies could be from the fact that morons like me did not understand what "PDR" meant until I read through the thread....

not real close but I had a few dents done through a friend at Vision Collision in Haslett, MI. The PDR guy travels southern MI. I was absolutely amazed with one dent he took out of the side of my truck bed. He did a few others too. A month later a deer ran into the side of my truck...

Go to the automall if there is one nearby and ask a few dealers. Typically you will find a few PDR guys there on any given day going from dealer to dealer. I would start with the more high-end dealers.

I called around and every dealer I spoke to uses Dent Wizard... Porsche, Acura, BMW, Mercedes.... Guess that is where I should go. I was hoping for an owner operated guy that might take a little more pride in getting the job done perfect, but guess I will just take my chances with a tech for hire at Dent Wizard.

Agree, go to the best dealer in the area. I will tell you this though, do not be offended if the Tech tells you that he does not allow spectators. Most of the really good PDR Techs I know are very protective of their process of repair. Good luck finding one who can sastisfy your needs. They are VERY hard to find. Fortunately, I have a very good friend who is in the that field & he does incredible work.
