Wasn't able to find anything on search other than sales. I'd like to add some aerosol can storage to my tool cart in some kind of magnetic attachment thing. Maybe 3 to 5 cans?

Who makes a good high quality one?

I bought a 2 can one from HF. It was something like $7-$9. You could do two of them. My cart (a 26” KR59 on top of a library cart isn’t deep enough for two). I’ve thought of making something to hold more.

Dang I forgot to mention that I specifically want to keep these magnetic can holders in the top lid. I saw some youtube mechanic have that kind of setup and it sure looked sweet. I was worried that when you close the lid, put it horizontal that the cans would fall out but his I think was built for that. The ones I'm seeing at HF and Amazon look like they don't go deep enough into the can body to allow them to go horizontal.

Neat idea! I don’t have to worry about that at home and I have a tote at work that holds my cans. I just put it on top of my box at the end of the day.

Olsa Tools has a 3 can model that's adjustable for taller cans....but it's not magnetic so you'd need to add that to it.

Harbor freight magnetic can holders, two magnetic hooks and a bungee cord.

Place the can holders where you want them, place the magnetic hooks wider than the holder and run the bungee across the top. Should work. Or...glue some magnets to some aluminum angle iron and place that on top of the cans to hold them in place when you close the lid. That’s even easier.

I picked one of these from the trash a few years back. It's now my favorite aerosol can holder.

No, not magnetic (I have mine screwed to wood), but you could VHB tape it to magnetic strips.
