Hi all.

Looking to buck up on a tool chest. I have a nook in the garage that's at most 47" wide. Depth doesn't matter.

I'd like something decent and my budget is 1500$.

There will be a lot of Harbor Freight 44" suggestions. I own one and it's worth the $400.

Mac Tech 1000 are nice boxes and obviously the Snap On KRL 722 but a tad larger than your 47" limit

Holy pic size, Batman! :)

Pretty good looking box, but I don't think I'm going to drive 1500 miles to the nearest Menards...

I'm a Harbor Freight 44 inch fan. Mine is 4 years old and is holding up fine. I have a hardwood top on mine so it also a nice extra bit of counter space. Enjoy the hunt for your new box!

Lista or Vidmar would be my choice. Lista makes 40.25" and 47" wide cabinets in a variety of heights and drawer configurations. They are 22.5" or 28.5" deep.

http://www.motorheadextraordinaire.com/ is a good source for Lista (Joe is a member of the Garage Journal). They do sell scratch and dent units at a discount.

Take a look at the Milwaukee box from HD. Just picked it up. 46", soft close drawers, two power strips. $700. uploadfromtaptalk1446268677419.jpguploadfromtaptalk1446268711729.jpg
