My GF supplies me with Wowtac A2s from her work for me and I like mine. I'm still on the first one and it's been a trooper and I beat on them in my line of work as a construction worker. Uses a USB 18650 rechargable battery as well

I like the Zebralights. I have an older H51Fw that takes AAs and a H600Fc Mk IV that's the new go-to. Frosted lens is the way to go for a headlamp. The Zebralight "F" models have really nice beams.

I have a shurefire without the top strap, ans a fenix with the top strap. I do prefer the light to have a top strap. Without it, I have the shurefire a bit tighter. It works fine but for longer use time the fenix is more comfortable due to being looser. Not a big issue for use under about 45 mins. Long day with haedlamps? YES, get a top strap

For work in snow I'd also get a warm color pattern. A high color temp and snow would be a bad situation.

I have the A2 (not s). Very happy with it. The headband is not the most comfortable but I like that it has a strap across the to of my head. The A2 has a narrower beam. Fine for walking but but as good for working under a car. Still for under $30 I'm very happy

I heard that Black Dimond is a great headlamps brand. Does any one here use headlamps of this brand?

I have one. Great camping light. 4 vs 3 AAA batteries. I bought my Wowtac S2 because the AAA batteries just didn't last long enough when I was doing a project in my attic.

I have three Zebralights, very high quality lights. They are very bright for the size and very durable. I've been carrying the same one in my pocket every day for at least eight years. It's been used so many times it really shouldn't even still function.
