Recommend me a portable shop fan

It's that time of year again, time to sweat at the thought of working in the garage. I'm looking for fan around $100. I've seen those big ones at Tractor Supply. I use the fan out of my old furnace. You talk about moving some air now!!

+1 on the furnace fan i got two one that sounds like a huricane and one thats so quite i forget its on both are mounted on casters and have switch boxes and then cords so i can shut off with out unpluging move a lot of air and were cheap spent maybe 20 for cords boxs switches and casters fans were scrap finds

I've got the first one. Had it for a couple years now and no complaints other than it could use more speeds as there isn't enough difference between hi and low.
Other than that it works great and moves a lot of air.
Not really that quiet if your worried about noise however.

I bought a used $800 pedestal TPI USA made fan for $100 on CL. Installed five 4' wheels. Its sweet.

I ended up buying the 24" ventamatic fan from Theisens today. Seems well built other than the wheels. Moves good amount of air and is fairly quiet.
