Yea that small electric would be good for small projects.. if you have a lot of concrete or fencing to do it's not the "best" choice.. checkout that site I posted.. cat pumps or triplex pumps are the more desirable if you go with a gas unit, over an axial style pump. for doing sidewalks, or patio, if you have a lot to do - a surface cleaning attachment (a small cheap one like Hd sells) is money well spent. For like $65 itll cut cleaning time by 3/4 of what it would take with just a wand.. a small water broom is also a great idea.. surface cleaner to clean the ground, water broom to push all the dirt away..
If you can find something with a Honda motor and cat/triplex pump, that's a pretty good combo, but really any decent brand should be fine for moderate home use - so don't let those factors talk you out of a good deal. id worry about a good motor over the pump, since finding both might be difficult for that price range. Common sense and minimal maintenance will go a long way over a better pump. (That's just my opinion) Something around 3,000 psi should do just about anything you could want, well..
I have a 3,800 psi John Deere, and even with that I still use a scrub bush to do my vinyl fence and siding. I bought one of those extending aluminum handles, to put on a the brush.. I'll soap down what I'm doing first, give it a quick pass with the brush, and then hit it with the water.. it just makes all the dirt come off easier - it's not completely necessary.
This is similar to the surface cleaner attachment I bought. Worth every penny.

You can return the Ryobi you bought at HD - and I'd check out these two instead if you want something better.. both are one sale, one I had posted in that thread on the hot deals forum. I've personally not had luck with any of the "electric start" models of anything I'd bought. Just one more thing to worry about, and a good Honda/Briggs & Stratton engine will start easily anyway.. the difference will be night and day.. good luck

Edit - if you'd like to stay electric, look at the AR Blue, or bigger Ryobi models. They have a pretty good reputation..
