So recently I acquired 2 Belaire 80 gallon compressors. A 218V and a 318VN. While moving them to my home, we broke the filter elbow on the 318VN. The 218V supposedly has a bad piston or something else mechanically wrong with it. I have not played with it yet to find out what's actually wrong. I drained the oil out of it and it did not have any metal shavings and was actually very clean. The place where I got them from did not use them a lot.

Where do you guys get your compressor parts from?

I'll be keeping the 318VN and repairing the 218V and putting it up for sale as I don't need 2 80 gallon compressors in my home 2 car garage.

Thank you in advance.

Pacific Air Compressor in Portland, Oregon had parts for an air compressor I got for free and was obsolete. They were not cheap, but they had them. I actually found them through a listing they had on ebay. They were polite and accurate on the phone.
Worst case, call them and see if they know a source closer to you. Searches on ebay are sometimes rewarding.

The elbow should be something a plumbing supply store or McMaster would have. I don't think you will find there is anything special about it.
