Recommendation Needed-Valve Spring Compressor

Today I began pulling apart the engine on my BSA B40 project bike. I wanted to pull the valves using my Craftsman compressor tool which I've used with no problems in the past. BTW, this bike uses inner and outer valve springs. I had a great deal of difficulty applying enough force on the tool to sufficiently compress the spring and in fact the yoke portion of the tool that bears against the valve retainer cap bent.

I would appreciate any recommendations for a good valve spring compressor tool.

without seeing your exact valve arrangement I can't give a specific model. I recently purchased an OTC valve spring compressor kit to do the springs on an automotive SOHC head where the springs were down in a pocket.
