Recommendations - Finished Nail Guns

Any recommendations on "finished nail guns" for installing pine tongue and groove on a wall or flooring materials?

Do you want air or cordless?

If air, both hitachi and bostich make good guns from my person experience. No personal experience with the cordless.

As for flooring, you need a flooring nailer. A nail gun will end badly with broken tongues and gaps between boards

Bostich makes a great fully adjustable flooring nailer. As for cordless I us3 th3 Ryobi air strikes. Almost every day. They work great.

For air I have Porter Cable and cordless Milwaukee. Just a DIY home repairer taking care of 4 homes and both severs my needs.

Just grabbed the Hitachi NT50AE2 (18g) from Lowe's for 39.98 based on recommendations from here.

Sale is good until 11/29.

I may get the Ryobi 18g for the quick jobs, since it's $99 right now and already have the batteries.

I have an Airy 18 guage brad nailer I purchased about 30 years ago. It has served me well no problems. I paid about $130 at the time which I thought reasonable. These tools were coming more into the diy price range. Purchased it around the same time I bought my first compressor. I was in the process of installing pine wainscoting in my basement. A few years later Porter Cable was offering a pancake compressor and a brad nailer for about $100 on sale.
I had a quick look for a 3-5 piece nailer kit both Lowes and HD showed item discontinued. No wonder everyone is going to Amazon. Amazon had a 3 piece Bostich with compressor for $199. Looks good. Mind you we are talking air powered and not cordless.

Dewalt's are now Bostitch clones, I've had luck with both though.
