Just ordered 20 buckets of the Henry's resurfacer sealer today. Mixed reviews on the stuff, but says it has a 7 year warranty. A friend of mine has had his down for 3 years in CT and he uses salt and plows his driveway (last two years have been rough), still looks great.

The Latex-ite brand does not last very long at all, that's the stuff you see at home depot.

Ayuh,..... Portland cement, a fertilizer drop-spreader, 'n a damp, wet just almost rainin' day,...

Ya go out 'n cover the driveway with a good heavy dustin' of Portland like you were mowin' the lawn, cover it all,...

Then if it ain't rainin', fan it with yer hose, to wet the portland, 'n let it seep into the pores of the blacktop,...
Just don't wash it away,...

Portland will seal oil, 'n gas outa the blacktop, like nothin' else,...
And, it glues things back together as well,...

The only draw-back is, ya have a gray driveway, insteada black,....

Do that every year, 'n yer driveway will last Forever,....

Ya think? Might be of some help, huh? I was wondering the same thing when I read your post, but my wife accuses me of being "so damn particular".
