Another vote for EGO. Last fall I got an EGO LB880 and this thing kicks some ****. I'm long established with Dewalt 20v and have some Milwalkee 12v and 18v. I made the choice to enter another battery brand option because I was really impressed with the power and run time of EGO products. I think it was early last year that I purchased an EGO string trimmer. My first ever gasless/cordless string trimmer and I really liked the thing. It was strong enough and ran long enough for my rural property. I thought that if I'm that impressed with the trimmer and I have that platform them might as well add to it. So I bought the EGO 880 package from Lowe's, comes with the blower and two big batteries. I have run time galore right now. Probably more run time than I care work without a break :badteeth:

Worth a trip to Lowe’s and HD to feel the weight with included battery and to compare specs. The dual battery 18V ones are heavy in my opinion. The single battery 18V ones are just good for paved surfaces or patio stones, rather than blowing leaves across a yard. Some 40/60/80V batteries are lighter than others. I bought my 80 year old father in law the Ryobi 40V 800CFM blower. I have Milwaukee 18V, 2x18V and backpack 2x18V and am not impressed by any of them.
