Recommendations for a pancake compressor?

If you're going to go that route, might as well get this for a few bones more. Almost 2x the CFM.

I personally have the Porter Cable I bought on clearance a few years ago. No issues yet.

The 3g 2.0 SCFM? How much did you pay and where did you find it? I still can't figure out what a "good" price is for these things.

I know I bought mine at a big box store..want to say $60-80 on clearance. Why it was on clearance? Dunno. There were plenty at the time.

I think most the 3.5-6 gallon compressor range from $75-$150.

Believe it or not I picked this thing up for $42 today. Price dropped from $159 to $89 online, and Sears previously goofed on a past order of mine and had given me a $55 gift card so I was able to use that.

Hard to beat 2.4 SCFM with a hose included (albeit is probably a terrible hose) for $42 brand new. I don't usually shop with Sears so not sure I would have ever had another opportunity to use that coupon unless it was a purchase just to use the gift card (ie not something I necessarily would use/need).
