Recommendations for new garage wall color?

My 2+2 garage is moving along and is now ready for me to make paint selections. My initial thought is to play off of the steel gray and silver striped car that will be stored there and do something like SW7661 Reflection with masonry painted black concrete blocks and white baseboard trip where the block meets drywall.

EDIT: having issues uploading pictures on mobile. Just imagine a a standard garage wall on 2 courses on cement block and baseboard where block and drywall meet.

I did a light grey on my walls too. Actually did the ceiling also. I liked it and would do it again. I had been in a friends garage where he did pure white walls and wow, that was too bright for me.

The PO had grey on my garage, and left most of a 5 gallon bucket of the paint, so I just put on a fresh coat. I like it.

That should look pretty sharp. Only advice I would offer is to coordinate the 'black' and 'white' colors with the gray color you selected - don't use a straight black or white, use a an off-white and off-black with the same hue.

Did a couple walls metallic blue….really got to paint the ceiling and other walls..i like the light gray..painting just real low priority in garage or house

In my shop I did the upper walls white for light reflection and the lower walls in darker gray to hide dirt, dust oil etc... And of course the red stripe was just for style.

I think its a fairly timeless color scheme that gives the best functionality and a little bit of style.

Of course I have 18ft ceilings, so you can scale the upper lower wall split to suite your space.

If you stay with a white, it will best hide any touchup / repairs, which you will be doing a lot of if you want to keep it looking good.

Like others have said, it also lightens up the room a lot.

I go with a bright gloss white on wooden trim, and an eggshell white on the sheetrock - both purchased from a source I know will keep the colors in stock for a long time, so matching won't be a problem. I'm already on the second gallon for each of these.

My two cents, Off White and Eggshell finish, less gloss than Semi Gloss but stands up to scrubbing and good light reflection.
Are you building a workshop or a showplace?

I painted my garage walls with Behr Manhattan Mist satin paint.

It's a greyish color with a hint of blue. It looks almost white during the day.

I asked my daughter. She said pink. She’s five and all things Barbie

I’d go two tone gray with stripe.

Pink is good. Of course pink is my favorite color as well had girls. Pink and grey work too. She will be happy and really, what floats your boat these days.

Hey, if painting the walls pink will help bring her into the shop, go for it!! I raised three kids (2 girls, 1 boy) as a single parent. I would not take $100 for a minute my girls spent in the shop with me. Luckily, they showed an interest in at least learning the basics. Both of my girls can change an alternator or do a brake job.
They grow up quick. Enjoy every minute.
