Wanted to get the concrete experts advise on sealing my driveway. The backstory - I have a normal 2 lane driveway leading up to my garage and had a 3rd parking lane added about a month ago. Obviously the new concrete is gleaming clean and new while my existing (7 years old) is not.
I want to pressure wash the old and get it as clean as possible to match the new concrete and seal the whole thing to maintain it. I’ve purchased Simple Green driveway cleaner that I plan on applying with a foam cannon and pressure washing accordingly.
My questions are:
- What sealing product should I use? I want it to last and willing to pay for it if needed. I don’t want to do it again in a few years
- Is 30 days enough time on the new slab to seal it?
- Should I be using a different cleaner than the one I referenced? I want the old to match the new as close as possible.
Thanks in advance.
