he digital Power Tank gauge is quite good and I'm really happy with it. Coupled with a Lock-n-Lube air chuck, it's the bee's knees. I was using the Haltec air chucks and they were good, but the Lock-n-Lube air chuck is even better. The only down side is that it's rather pricey.

Dig Doug,

Does the PowerTank inflator hold the pressure when removed so it can be used as a stand alone gage?

yes it does as long as the inflator valve isn’t depressed other wise you will let air out.
you can use it to air down a tire, say in an off road situation drive to trail head at 20psi and deflate to 12/15 psi.

it will hold pressure against the inflator valve. See pic for what I call inflator valve

I have two of the Branicks - not cheap, but they are good and easy to read. It has a manual rotary gauge.

I've had cheap ones that didn't last and I had a Milton, but it was difficult to read. I bought the bullet and ordered another Branick.

I bought the HF inflator with the deflator buttone and analog dial gauge , actually bought a few. Removed the anolog gauge and installed a 1/8"'mpt x 1'4" fpt adapter and picked up some digital gauges from amazon. I have 1 that goes to 200 psi and another that goes to 60 psi.the 60 Psi I put a small normal style milton chuck on it and the 200 I put a dual type chuck on it for truck tires. Works for what I do. I did put a low side R22 refrigeration anolog gauge on one also. I kinda like and trust the anologs better, just didnt like the 200psi HF gauge they came with too hard to see.

Thanks everyone.
I ordered a Power Tank inflator, analog 60 psi liquid filled gage, braided stainless hose and their latest rebuildable clip on chuck.
