Looking for what people recommend for a good drill bit set for Metal and concrete mostly. I bought a set of Bosch Black Oxide drill bits to drill out some holes in metal and 2 of them snapped off when getting to the end of the hole. As far as the concrete bits go, just looking for just general use ones for block and concrete foundations to put emt brackets into it.

For metal, Norseman drill bits, you can get them at Fastenal.

For general use in wood, aluminum, mild steel - standard HSS bits with 118 degree points.
For hard metal, like stainless steel - HSS/cobalt alloy bits with 133 degree split points.
For concrete you want specialized masonry bits, which are often carbide tipped.

Bit type and technique (rpms, pressure, etc.) matters a lot more than brand. A sharp bit of any brand works a whole lot better than a worn one.

For concrete it would be SDS, I have some Hilti bits but anything will work.

For metalwork I'm open to Triumph, Precision Twist, Cleveland, or Chicago-Latrobe are a few of my faves.
