I’ve always used pneumatic die grinders at work. Unfortunately at home I do not have the access to a air compressor. I am looking to strip paint on floors of my car to start roll cage install. I do not like electric grinders because I feel like they are too aggressive. Would you guys recommend a bit to use on my drill and use same wheels that I would use on my die grinder? Or is there a better electric option. I’m fine with corded, I just really like the variable trigger to a die grinder.

I saw the eastwood sct contour and it looks sweet. But the wheels are expensive as hell haha

I'm in the same situation, and personally find that most drills won't have the speed to make a Roloc setup effective. I've tried this with an M12 and M18 FUEL drill to clean up the mating surface on a hub when doing brake jobs. It doesn't really cut it.

I've considered a electric die grinder.
