I'm really disappointed in Milwaukee for not offering the same warranty on their reconditioned tools as they do on new tools. 1 year vs 5 years *****.
They have already done a warranty exchange on the item, costing them $. Why would they then sell the item for you at 1/2 (or less) price, and provide you with new batteries, and give you the exact same warranty benefits as someone that paid full price for the tools?

I heard they are closing out that kit in stores soon. I doubt they will drop that low in price before they sell out though. 200$ is a good deal with a 1 yr warranty IMO
Same here. This is tempting I really only need the batteries though.
Can you show me where I can get it for a better price? If I can get it new for even close I will jump on it. I'm all for holding out for a good deal. Just concerned that I am getting someone else old junker that got cleaned up and sold to me.

The batteries in that refurb kit are not the 4 amp-hr batteries that come with the new set. They are the 3 amp-hr batteries.
Doesn't Canada have some really high sales tax on this kind of stuff?
It says 4.0... What makes you think differently?
The pictures are not the 4 amp-hr batteries..
He's right,if it says XC on the Battery,it's the 3.0..
The 4.0 and 5.0 say XC4.0 and XC5.0 right on the side.
Picture shows xc 4.0, description says xc 4,0, Milwaukee website says xc 4.0. At any rate, mine shipped yesterday, we shall see.
Refurb was good enough for me and I hope they last me 6 to 8 years years.
Wasn't complaining. Was reporting for others to factor into their decision.
