The designs varied over the years, and the terms “early” and “late” are relative.
First off, that’s a genuine one.
Not sure there are many fakes out there, other than the vices made by Irwin, which might as well be fake, but technically are not.
That vice was made in England, and the quality will be reasonable. Of the British made vices, it is one of the later ones (you can tell by the style and logo) but it’s not so late as to be one of the crappy imported ones.
