This pliers Is for 30-40 years ago but i dont know anything about record pliers . of course
planes of record are famous ...

They are, or rather were, one of the major manufacturers of pliers in the U.K. Quality was right up there with the likes of Elliott Lucas and Knipex, and prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, Record was taken over a few years ago and the products that wern't outsourced were dropped. Old stock can sometimes be found in British tool or hardware shops, or even on eBay, and is well worth acquiring!

I have 4 blue Record C-clamps that are just great as well. Nice rolled threads, smooth operation. I can't remember where I bought them, but wish I had more as they weren't that expensive at the time.
