What are the best brand of reciprocating saw blades for cutting metal? I find the dewalt ones break to quick.

I like the Milwaukee torch and and Lennex makes a nice one too, but I don't what it is called. I have some Milwaukee's with carbid grit on them. Havn't tried them yet, but they are suppose to go threw harden stuff pretty good.

The new Dewalt blades are pretty decent. Milwaukee's been catching up - they just came out with blades that are said to last twice as long as previous blades without costing more.

Lennox is #1 for me with Milwaukee at #2 and all the dewalt blades I have used are complete ****

And this is with 10+ years in the building trades

Look for the Lenox "rescue" blade it has 10 teeth per in & 14 teeth per in.

So the pattern is like 10 14 10 14 gives more relief for chip removal

I've found the thicker Milwaukee and Diablo blades work 10x better than the Dewalt ones

I bought one of those thick, Swiss made, carbide tipped 9" diablo blades. That dude is a beast for tearing apart wood based products and the occasional nail here and there. I also like the Swiss Made Bosch blades. They seem to last longer than the standard Milwaukee blades although I have not yet tried the latest Milwaukee blades which appear to have been improved...

Here's another vote for Lenox. Wasted a whole pile of money on others in the process too.
Lenox is generally reliably good stuff.

I buy the Milwaukee Torch/Ax, because I can sometimes find them in the larger variety packs. I use my Hacksall more often that a Sawsall.

I try to avoid metal with a sawsall, If I'm cutting metal I try to use either a stand bandsaw or my portaband.

I recently got some of the Freud Diablos. They're thicker and stronger than the ones I used to use (mostly Milwaukee). I like them a lot.

I like Lennox as well and the "rescue" blades are awsome for metal. I used to manage an auto salvage yard and we were hard on our blades. Using them to cut cars in half, cutting off catalytic converters, etc. Of all the brands we tried those were the best without question unless you spend crazy money for something more exotic. Lennox sponsored one of the NH Nascar races every year and a couple times I donated junk cars for them to cut in half during their demo at the track. "Hackman" is a good guy.

I like the Bosch the best and Milwaukee second best. Lenox not so much.

The Skil ugly are same as Bosch as far as I can tell.
