I posted this in Pree Parking and thought maybe it was more approcpriate to post it in here... Hope this isn't a problem.

What have you guys done to organize your recycling bins? My trash company does not pick up recycling so I take it to a local drop off point. I have multiple bins in my garage and I'm looking for ideas on how to store the bins so they are out of the way and easily accessed. I've seen some stackable bins online but when you get 3 or 4 of them they end up being a little pricey and I'd like to see what I can put together myself. If you have pics I'd really appreciate seeing them.

Thanks.

I don't have pictures, but I know some that have just made a simple wood or metal set of cubbies to slide the bins into...I have also seen some using PVC pipe and building a wheeled cart.

However; recycle bins are not standard, what do your's look like and how many are you trying to stack/rack.

I place mine (just two) under an eave next to my workshop. I leave the paper/cardboard in the house in a box until it's recycle day so it doesn't try into pulp.

I picked up a set of 20+ gallon stackable bins from Home Depot. 4 bins total. removable tops, with a hinged flap to drop stuff in. We drop off every weekend, so the size has worked out nice. I have one for bird seed, and one in the garage for pop cans.

Looks like these, but a bit larger, and a whole lot cheaper!
