Red 5 drawer HF Pro cart 169.99 today

I was in HF in Independence Mo today and they had the US General Pro red 5 drawer carts for 169.99.
Also its listed on their site .

I was in there Friday and told them if it would fit in my car I would buy it. It would not, but they gave me a rain check to come get it any time I can move it for the same price. I've looked at them several times and for the money I don't think you can go wrong. Went in there today with a buddy of mine (both of us are career body men) to get his opinion and he said same thing. Can't go wrong for the price.

as has been discussued on this board and many others, being allowed to use the coupon when its already 199 is hit and miss.
i talked the guy that sold me mine into giving me the 20 percent off of the 199 and i didnt even have a coupon.
i dont think my local store would do that.

I bought one in December at 169 and the local store refused the coupon claiming that it was a tool chest and thus excluded from the 20% off coupon.

Exactly, if anyone read the coupon.. The terms state "Tool Storage" now.. So that includes pretty much all the boxes or carts etc..

The HF red cart is worth it at $199. It is just nice to get it for $169. They did recently change the rules to include the tool carts in the "Cannot use 20% coupon." They still frequently have their own 'Super Coupon' in many of the monthly magazines. They pretty much alternate between the 5-drawer and 4-drawer every few months. (the same for the 12-ton vs. 20-ton press). If you can wait, you will usually find a decent super coupon within a 3-4 months.

I have had my 5-drawer cart for quite a while now, and I am extremely pleased with it...

I had a student in class that had one today, it was impressive for the price. He had it loaded with tools and the drawers opened and closed nice. If the one that goes on sale next month is anything like that i might have to get one.

The 20% off coupon that I just printed off their Facebook page specifically does say that it can't be used on "tool storage or carts." They've obviously caught on to the deal.
