we all know the standard craftsman handles stink like crazy over time, but do the red handled items stink as well? specifically, the prybars and the scrapers.

for that matter, how about the green hard handled SK stuff?

i am replacing some old stuff, and i don't want to get new tools that end up making my toolbox smell like a bucket of puke.

thanks guys.

Nope - I have lots of those red-handled tools and no smell! They hold up quite nicely, too.

I have had the three piece scraper set for about a year now and they don't stink imo.

I have the prybars and scrapers, no smell. I wish they had regular screwdrivers with these handles.

The regular screwdriver handles are made of wood cellouse or acetate, I for get which.

I have the red handled pry bars in the 3-piece set as well as a larger single (31") model that I bought open stock. Neither one has any odor to it at all. I've seen the scrapers you're asking about and they appear to be identical handles, so I doubt that they stink either.
