Red Snap-On Tool Thread...?

I bought these, bolted
them all together using many bolts, then bolted them to the wall. The work tops are 25mm
ply I bought as a single sheet and cut and sanded, then each one is screwed to the work
bench with 12 screws from underneath.

The top shelves are just standrd planks of timber mounted with wodden risers and then
fitted underneath with kitchen under cabinet strip lights. The end result is incredibly strong
and a joy to use. It has taken everything I have thrown at it in it's stride, and the addition
of the lighting has made dissasembly and reassembly of small componants really
comfortable to do.

You did a fine job assembling a good looking work area. I'll be coming back to your picture for inspiration as I have a wall area I need to rearrange.

If you've a thread mention of your Facom pieces, I'll be reading it soon via search. Or if you care to plan one in the future, that would be appreciated.

That's very kind of you to say so.... There are quite allot of my posts and
threads that extol the virtues of the vast amount of Facom tools I own. In
England they are the best value if you want to get premium quality tools
compared to the price of Snappy and Stahlwille, and of the thousands I have
spent on Facom I haven't been disappointed in the slightest with any of it.
Every socket, spanner, pliers and ratchet has been flawless and are a joy
to use. Do a search, and good luck with wall area.....

Finally some cell phone pictures of my Red Snap On tools. Even though the ratchet screwdriver looks orange, it's really red. If they don't look good I will have to use my DSLR and retake them.

Are you sure they're available online? Snap On's website shows 1 of 7 products...but doesn't actually have any product pages for it. Maybe you just got a NOS from the truck and the driver mistakenly thought they were online as well?

I re-discovered my Red ratcheting screw driver after a 10+ year hiatus. I received it as a gift back than but moved 3 times and lost track of it. FOUND IT!! It was a bit stiff so I took it apart, cleaned it, lubed it and it's back to as new condition again. A good day and a good reunion and it does have a gasket between the body and the cap.
