Anybody have one of these they'll share thoughts on? I like the concept. Since it's going in my personal shop, the open style doesn't bother me (regarding theft potential) but I'm a little concerned about the life expectancy of the foam.

hope you will update us with your thoughts on it OP.

looks nifty and useful, just not sure if 400.00 dollar useful, to be honest I have spent more on less useful stuff lol.

First thing I'd do is bolt two 25lb plates to the bottom of that thing. Otherwise I'd be certain to know it over a time or two.

Liking the $100 lockable "cut resistant fabric cover".

Don't ask.
Looks like a lot of wasted space and all the tools packed in tightly.
Could easily make it rectangular, add a couple drawers and a shelf.
I do like the idea of holding the tools vertically, the side shelf.
Adjustable height is also a nice feature but appears it might be difficult to use.

just buy a montezuma box. it will hold more, has better sight inventory, will be more secure and will lock everything up tight. as an added bonus , when the lid is closed you can flip it completely upside down and most things will stay exactly where you put them.

you will be sorry three times.

1, when you tip it over and it completely empties it's contents.
2. when someone cuts your locking cover with a decent knife to steal something.
3. when someone steals the whole thing and the wasted space underneath it.

the inventor gets an a for effort but that is about it.

Looks like if you were to roll it across the floor and have a small rock or stone get caught under one of the wheels, you'd be picking tools up after it tipped over.

Cool concept but in my opinion a good mechanics cart does just about everything better. If you are wanting to deal with drawers less, than as someone else above suggested a Montezuma box placed on top of a rolling cart would be a better option.
