Reddy Heater maintanance?

I bought a 50,000 btu Reddy Heater last winter. It preformed flawlessly but this season sometimes it sputters and sometimes it won't fire off. I have to wait a minute so it doesn't smell like kerosine (I don't wanna blow myself up) and fire it again. It didn't have much old fuel left in it, i put fresh in. Is there any maintanance required on these things? Also where can I get a manual I misplaced mine. Thanks!

There is a filter kit for it. I change my filters every year. I purchase the kit at a local hardware store that also sells these heaters. The kit is less than $10 and money well spent.
Of course it has a nozzle and a spark plug as the ignition system and those could be screwed up too.
I'd Google for a manual and filter kit and see what pops up.
