Identifying the component problem(s) with Reddy Heater. I purchased a used 150,000 btu unit - old style with spark plug design. Plug it in at home and it fired up. Low on kerosene - added 5 gallons. Plugged it in and nothing. No motor/fan, clicking - nothing. I tore it apart and wish to bench-test the motor - per the photo. It has 3 wires from the motor - black, white and red. Can I apply 110 voltage to which wires to test the motor without damage?

I don't see a problem doing it. Be careful, but first I would see if power is at the motor by using one of those circuit testing pens that light up or a multimeter

I put everything back together. I swapped out the reset control button from another junked heater and the 'flame on' sensor. Works great. I wish to thank everyone for their input.
