Redmax weed whip leaking gas... ?

So today was my first time using the whip this season (had it 8 years probably) and its leaking fuel from the black cap that has the fuel line running out of it. I never had this problem before, any idea if this is an easy fix? Pics below on the cap I think is the problem

the grommet and/ or the fuel line has deteriorated probably
look for a pin hole leak in the fuel line.

Yep, replace the leaky grommet and the fuel lines.

Why they all make these out of materials that cannot withstand gasoline, I will never understand. But that's how it is.

Those fuel lines tend to harden and shrink. Just put new fuel line, filter and primer line on.

I'm pretty sure you can get that whole fuel line assembly on Ebay for pretty cheap.
