I'm confused....what's the little overhead door for? Where's your front entry to the house now?

I was the same way until I looked at it a half a dozen times. He added on to the back. Look at the pic of the side wall of the garage and you can see where they tied the new brick in with the old. Look at the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, pic close and it tells the story.

I am also curious about the little roll up door. At first I though it may have been for a car but then it doesn't look like enough room between the hoist and wall to get a car through. Also after they cleaned the brick does it match the rest of the garage or is it noticable. Non-the-less....it all looks good

I say the small overhead door is for yard equipement. I know in my setup I would love to have a small rollup to get the rider mower out of the garage.

yes the brick matches perfect after an acid wash and the morter dried wont be exact on the mortar for awhile, the old morter is 20 yrs old. The little door on the back is for my golf cart to head out to the house. Have a path around to the front that got in today. I will post some more finished photos. thxs for all the kid words fella's. be safe. paul

Been here for almost a year and have not seen that many drastic rebuilds (REBUILDS) like this.

Damn nice job.

So many of us look at a rectangle or square with doors.
I need to look at the yard a little differently and build the garage to suit it and me.

Nice work and a super addition. :bounce:

Hanny there was a spammer that snuck into your thread last night but he was dealt with and the spam removed . Great job on the addition by the way I am planning a similar addition myself .

you lost me:wtf:

Evidently there was spam after your posting and before RbrtWht's comment. It was reported and quickly disposed of. But Rbrt's comment stayed, therefore making him look like he's losing it by talking to himself. Then again, MAYBE it is a touch of schizophrenia :lol_hitti
