reed 124 1/2 bench vise

Hey guys, just acquired a reed 124 1/2 bench vise, curious if anyone knew how old this thing is, has a huge 12 inch opening. I got this bench vise for free and havent been able to find any information on it except that its pre ww2 telling by the knob that the handle goes through. Can someone educated me how old this thing really is and how rare it could be? Thanks.
