Reed 48" Aluminum Pipe Wrench Score!!

I spotted this nice Reed 48" aluminum pipe wrench at a local pawn shop a few months back. They wanted $99 for it (which was more than I wanted to pay) so I passed on it. I was in today looking around and I talked to the owner and told him that the pipe wrench had been there for a few months and what was my "make it go away price"? He looked it up and gave it to me for $60 out the door. I'm pretty happy with the price for a tool that I won't use very often.

I have only used a 48 inch pipe wrench once in my life, and that was once too many. So I would have no use for some thing that big. I did buy a 48 inch pipe wrench from harbor freight for my father in law, He wanted one.

Honestly, I'm not too sure how much I'll use it either. It was much more of a want than a need. There have been times when have something that big would be great for bending metal.

Ya bud, you **** huge. I have a 48 and a 60 iron and swinging those are a workout all by themselves. For that price it can look pretty for a loooooong time before you need it for what it was meant to do.
