Just picked this monster up and for some reason it was in a box

Big vise here.. got the base, the slide, and then there are a 2 piece threaded collar a washer and then a small screw that goes on the side,

Whoa, calm down there boss, give guys a chance to respond. Slide the thrust washer onto the screw, place the split nut around the screw between the ball end and the flange, in the groove, slide the screw into the moving jaw and screw the split nut in. Should be a little set screw to go in the side of the jaw to lock the adjustment of the split nut.
