I just found a Reed 204 1/2 hydraulic vice in my dads garage. Upon setting it up, when pumping I have a leek coming out the bottom. anyone have any information on this vise, when made? the pump is manufactured by Brucon, San Francisco.

Did you ever figure out the problem? Do you have pictures of the vise and foot pump? Interested in seeing what it looks like.

If he had leeks coming out of it I’d bet it’s rusty due to being out in some farmers field.

Leaking is probably due to a bad seal.
