Reelcraft hose owners?

So I got what I *thought* was a good deal on new reelcraft hose reel (5650 olp 3/8" x 50'), only to find out later that it didn't come with a hose. I can return it for a refund -shipping, or just get a hose for it and be happy. So, my question to GJ is how good is the hose that is usually supplied with a reelcraft hose? Is it any better quality than the Goodyear hose at HF? Right now, I'm inclined to send it back and find one with the hose.

My "reel craft " hose was fine. It didn't dry rot over the 5 years I had it. I wouldn't lose sleep over not having a reel craft hose. Although, I'm sure they would sell you one... Try the Goodyear, seems to work pretty well. I have a Husky reel/ hose that is the HF model that everyone sells branded as Husky tools from home depot and it's been fine for about a year now

Buy the Goodyear hose. I have the flexzilla hose and it's a pain in the ***. It's to soft, kinda grippy and always all bunched up...It's a pain to roll up too.

I have a Reelcraft 1/2" x 50' with the original hose. It's a good hose, but nothing "special". If the deal you got still looks good with the price of a Goodyear from HF on top of it, I wouldn't hesitate to do that.
