I need an electrician to come me an estimate on moving some things around in my garage and house. The house stuff is all fairly simple, swapping outlets and switches, but I don't have the time to do it myself. The garage is...well, I'm the second owner since 1953 if that helps explain it at all. It's not a disaster, but there are some definite rigs.
Incidentally, I also need a contractor to repair dry rot under the shower that I'm about to rip out. Can't seem to find anyone who is willing to do a small job like this. I have a retired contractor that I use as a handyman on our rental, but when we are talking he tends to ramble in a way that makes me uncomfortable using him for larger projects. And, speaking of the garage, I need some input there, too.
I dunno, should I just close this thread and start my garage build thread early?
