Thinking about cleaning up the worst of two boxes. I think it's an early issue, removable lock plates for the front cover, where as my other box has spring loaded plates activated by closing the lid -- ala Gerstner. I'm not a bodyman/painter type. Can the wrinkle texture and the color be reproduced/patched/blended in, or do I strip completely and start over as a K55-R?
