So, I'm repainting my living room with 15.5 foot ceilings and will replace the bulbs "while I'm up there". And my choices make my head hurt. (I know this isn't garage but still..)
Currently there are 6" cans with 90 or 120 watt BR 40 bulbs. I don't use these lights very often but still thought it's good to use LED bulbs. And that 's my dilemna--I cant figure out what and which.
I see par 38 led bulbs with different degrees of angles--25, 45 etc. . I see BR40 led bulbs, and those come in all different color--soft, bright, daylight. And I see 100 watt replacements being anywhere from 16 watts to 22 watts.
What's a good replacement for a 100-120 watt dimable relector bulb for a 6'' can in a 15 1/2 foot ceiling?
