There is no date or alloy info...[ ]...Has anyone got the Catalog # and contents list for me to ascertain its completeness?
Looks like a mixed lot. I don't recognize the numbers on the sockets to the left. Are those branded? The Bonney sockets to the right look wartime to me, not just because of the cadmium plating, but the branding. They're not later than 1946, put it that way, and they're not CV. Are you sure they're 9/32-drive? What are the model numbers? Bonney had transitioned to 1/4-drive by 1939. The handles are chromed, marked CV, and they have M- model numbers, so 1930's.
Some pieces have a tiny triangle symbol on them after Bonney.
That symbol signifies the Triangle Corporation, and it can be found on Utica, Herbrand, and Bonney tools made under the same roof in Orangeburg, SC after 1967.

In the black cased set all the sockets are Bonney RF## identified and 9/32” drive.

Hopefully an illustration from a Catalog can be found.

Have you looked yourself? I don't have any catalogs that aren't in the public domain. Google "Internet Archive International Tool Catalog Library". Once there, type "Bonney tools" in the search bar on the upper right. A mess of Bonney catalogs will show up. As I said in my initial reply, they switched to 1/4-inch drive by 1939, so it should be before then. There are definitely 9/32-inch drive tools in the 1933 catalog. I don't recall ever seeing a reefer set in there - or any reefer set or RF- model numbers in the 1939, 1941, and 1946 catalogs, either. My hunch with the mix of eras, finishes and markings (30's chrome plated CV handles, later cadmium non-CV sockets) is perhaps a prewar set that is not in a catalog. The box is prewar black. Good luck.

See Page 40, Catalog No. 137 (1937). Very odd! No reefer tools in the 1933. And none in the 1938, 1939, 1941, or 1946. Just the 1937. They show up again in Catalog C-1 (1947) with no special RF- model numbers for the 6- and 12-point sockets, only the packing gland sockets. My hunch is still a mixed production set from late 30's with the CV and chrome handles and no-CV cadmium sockets.

Got reacquainted with with my old r22 equipment today, as one of the coils on my rooftop ac sprung a leak. Fortunately it all still worked! Have not used most of this stuff since 90s.

Ohio 7-in combination ratchet wrench (ebay 304201289933 01).jpg
This odd duck - marked only "OHIO" - recently came to my attention again when GJ member @Steven 33 asked me about a copy he acquired a few weeks ago.
It's been rolling around in my head for a while, and I'm thinking possibly "refrigeration"? :dunno:
But then, why that large open-end?
Possibly a gas bottle wrench?
Don't know the size of either end. Hopefully @Steven 33 can measure his and let us know here.

I do have a refer wrench with a ratcheting 3/8"s end on it, Imperial made if I remember, definitely one of the classic types. So, not unheard of, but whether it is for gas bottles or what I do not know.

edit: just check earlier in the thread and it is a Walden. Who probably made them for Imperial anyway.

^ Just scrolled through all four pages and everything shown with a female ratcheting end has a box end (or nothing) at the other end, so this one is a puzzler. Hopefully Mr. Steven will get chime in with some measurements - those photos above were pulled from an ebay listing.

Just saw this post about refrig tools and in the Duro-Chrome thread I just posted a 4518RS set I got yesterday with the special gland sockets, missing the ratchet and some common sockets. I also got one of those big white bottles of R12 about half full, apparently it has some value, although I'm not sure of how to sell it lol.

^ I'd be wary of going that route. BIG monetary fines on that stuff now.

If you scroll up a bit in the thread you'll find a Duro refrigeration set that looks to be fairly complete.

Found this guy. 6.1 inches long, 5/8" open end, and 7/16" square boxed opening. Has some greenish paint. About 0.4" thick not counting the forged lettering.

The company changed their name from Larsen-Baker Ice Machine Company to Baker Ice Machine Co in 1910. In 1949 or the early '50's it looks like they changed their name to Baker Refrigeration. This provides a 40 year time frame for when this could have been produced.
