several years ago I was given an emglo wheelbarrow gas compressor by a friend . it had fallen off a truck (literally) and damaged the gas tank , belt guard etc .
refurbishing it to pass along to another friend that did some work for me, in exchange for the compressor
WIsconsin RObin engine. new carb, new fuel tank, belt guard etc. cleaned it all up, resprayed it and now putting it together . I originally started this project 2 years ago, never got to finish it. Now I'm on a mission .

Those were the industry standard for framers, they were built tough, not sure how they are today being owned by dewalt. looks good.

replaced the leaking 1/4" line to the idle solenoid. fabbed up a bracket to steady the belt guard. took apart & cleaned the filter in the pilot valve . changed the oil in the motor & compressor again .new filter assy for the compressor , cut a pc of filter foam for a new engine filter
The recipient ( My Friend) has been dropping by to help, it's nice to have another set of hands , (plus he brought some beer! LOL)
all that's left is spray paint the muffler heat shield and the recoil black to freshen it up .I've Got some gold paint and going to try to darken it down to better match the fan shroud colour and paint the new (yellow) gas tank . also need to attach some new vibration dampers .
then it's done. forgot to get pictures, will get some tomorrow .
Buddy wants to replace the pull cord, not that bad but hey, let him do it!

I bought a used Mi-TM compressor like that from the rental department of our local Home Depot.

It was very difficult to find decent enough tie-down anchor points to even drive it the 7 miles home on my trailer.

I only mention it, because you say this one literally fell off a truck. I ended up building a roll cage of sorts for mine out of Unistrut. The purpose of which was to add much needed anchor points and a single lift point on top.

I'll try to remember get some photos to post.

Finished it up tonight .some final touches, painted the recoil, muffler shield, gas tank, etc .added new feet added a new regulator c/w a support bracket to the frame to keep it from being puished down . Various pictures with the progress . the new fuel tank was sort of a school bus yellow whereas the motor fan shroud was gold . I had an old can of gold paint that I tried, but it was too light or bright. some brown paint mixed in fixed that . I was surprised how close I actually got the the OEM colour .Pretty sure i've got less than $75 in parts into this . lots of time, but who counts that? LOL
This compressor runs beautiful, or do we say purrs like a kitten. My buddy is ecstatic. He asked me if I could help him get his plate tamper running, apparently it's leaking gear oil. sounds like a fun project.
I know this project pales in comparison to many folks projects on here, but that's all I gits right now ! LOL
