Regulator for Powder Coating Gun

I've searched for quite a bit now, but I can't find a decently priced regulator for this. It needs to be an inline regulator (not mounted on the wall side to my compressor piping). Since powder coating guns usually run at 5-20 PSI (at, if ever, the very most), I don't want a regulator with a gauge that goes up to 125/150/175 PSI. No way to make small adjustments in the range I need it to.

So I need an inline regulator with a relatively low scale on the gauge (0-30 PSI, 0-60 PSI maybe?) that can handle 125 PSI input pressure (what my regulator on the wall is set to, but is closer to 100 PSI at the end of my 50ft hose).

I don't want to spend $50-$60 on one of these since that is half of what the Eastwood dual voltage PC gun is! Eastwood does sell a regulator, but it's a cheap plastic one with very poor reviews for $30.

Any suggestions?

I've been tempted to just get a regulator and put a 0-30 PSI gauge on it, but I can't find the maximum input pressure for most gauges that are for sale.

Just whatever crappy paint gun regulator from HF will work fine. Trust me on this, it's not super important.


Also, adding more weight on the bottom of that gun is just gonna make it miserable to move around and break even faster. Install a small water separator/regulator on the side of your booth and run a line from there to the gun. Lightest method I found was water line for an ice maker or something and some push to connect fittings.

Eastwood has at least three regulators that fit your criteria, including one included in a powder coating kit with a moisture filter, masking tape, and three empty powder bottles.
