Reloading Room Floor

I'm in the planning stages of building a 10' X 12' Reloading room inside my existing 24 x 30 shop building.
Existing flooring is open concrete slab with various dirt, old paint, etc. stains.
I'll power was the floor ( And Let it dry thoroughly ) before I start the framing so that I have a clean surface to start with.
I'm planning on two work benches as well as space for a couple of shelving racks and a horizontal file cabinet that I have my dies, etc. stored in now.
Under the workbenches will get either cabinets or a couple of Roll-a-Way bottom tool boxes with the casters removed.
The floor area is only 120sqf so there's not going to be a lot of floor area exposed due to the work benches etc.
I'll have a couple of drafting type lab stools and the floor shouldn't have any heavy traffic or equipment, metal casters, jacks, or that type of wear & tear.

So - Now to the flooring:
Epoxy Coating or CVT ?

I'd just do racedeck for the ease factor. I'm also a fan of the look.

For that size room and use, go with sheet vinyl flooring. No seams or cracks, easy to clean and mor importantly, much easier to find dropped primers. You will drop some...BTDT....

Racedeck has too many nooks & crannies for stuff to get lost in.
cvairwerks is right, primers and spilled powder, Detent balls, springs, C clips, E Clips, screws, pins, etc. all need to be found and retrieved / cleaned up easily.
Smooth is fast.

I'd look at commercial carpet squares. Dropped stuff will bounce and scatter less, plus make the floor a little more comfortable.
I used foam/rubber mats for mine

I got talked out of the tobacco color for my basement shop and ended up with Thousand Island Dressing.



When I'm staring at the floor I hear this.

Here's my basement workshop floor.

I forgot which brand of epoxy I used but it's really durable. On a positive note about the floor, it's impossible to lose any small parts and it helped brighten the room with reflective light.

I stand a lot while reloading, sizing, lubing cast. I just put a foam rubber 3ft wide runner, no holes, in front of bench. I'm in basement on concrete.

I put the lifeproof vinyl down in a room in my last house that I had setup as a reloading room.

Was pretty cheap and easy to put down.

I had an 2x8x3/4 rubber mat that I put down in front of the bench where I stood.

my reloading/gun room is in the basement of the house.
smooth concrete floor throughout, never been sealed or painted.
i have an outdoor kind of floormat in front of the bench for when im standing, i occasionally sit down on a bar stool as well. i have a 2nd bench at desk height for cleaning ect.
