I've been away from here a while, after we had built the Two Shot Shack, life got very busy.

After the first pictures of the car in the shop, I never managed to fit one in there again, the waves of dross mounted up and consumed every inch of spare space.

I did accomplish a few projects from there, indeed we bought a second hand kitchen to update the one at our house, the project ended up taking nearly 2 years simply because as an older house, ours fought us on every turn. Still we got the kitchen in, and once again the garage was clearish, but still not clear enough for this one to come home when I bought it;

Well moving on, we sold our house and with it the land and garage we had built, moving to one that is a bit bigger and has a garden for the children to enjoy.

The garage however, well you'll see...

Well it's an interesting design, atypical of the area it seems to have been built from whatever was laying around at the time.

Oh and these windows, in spite of them being double glazed, leak around the frames.

At the back end it of it, it's made largely from an old up conservatory. This means it is brilliantly bright for working on the car but terrible in terms of security.

Any hints or advice for it greatly received as always, and I'm looking forward to catching up with what you guys have been up to.

Love your Datsun.

Will respond to PM later.

Its Sunday evening and almost time to head for the M25 and homeward after a lovely day and night at Katys place.

I started moving a bunch of stuff in today, and a friend has offered some insulation from his house renovation, so I will probably pad out the right wall with it before paneling it in.

This is the stud wall, a wooden frame sheeted and tinned over, one of the window frames leaks too as does the roof in some areas; you can also see the shelves I bought at auction some years back, along with the Motorcraft pegboard that now serves as my spanner rack.

This gives the best impression of the space I have available, I'm thinking of pulling the car right forward so there is plenty of natural light when I'm working on it...

Well the old garage is now just home to the cabinets that are too heavy for me to lift, and around 60 boxes from inside the house.

We are awaiting the property search to come back from the local council before any documents can be signed.

We hope eventually to add a carport out front and up the side of the house, but I have been researching steel buildings and wonder if I would be bettter saving up for a slightly bigger building with the carport integrated into it, they are about double what the two shot shack stood me.

I will probably have to clear out and sell some of the cabinets as there just isn't the same amount of space in the new shop, I want to be able to get the Datsun in to get stuck into it.

As an aside, I'm considering losing the front up and over door and the personal access door and replacing them both with a pair of barn doors, I will get fresh pictures of the the building when I'm in next, but I'd appreciate some input as to if it is likely to cause me any issues.
