Rem Line Toolbox - Vintage

Today I grabbed this box. Still has original Rem Line price tag and drawer liner marketing piece. All drawer slides perfect. Love it. What year is it?

I used to own the box below that was badged differently and I believe older than yours. I found the date behind the badge after removing and I recall either 1967 or 69.


Unlike Waterloo who has a long tradition of stamping dates on their boxes Remline does not. I suspect your boxes were made in the 70's-80's.

I'd love to know how old your Remline chests are too, and I'm hoping that someone with knowledge of it will chime in.

I have two Remline boxes with the name in different fonts. My top box has the box tag/label on one of the drawers, and the date code on it is 1960. Sorry for the lousy pic quality.

My lower box has the same font as yours, but its on a label badge/tag, and there's no date code.

Is there a date on the marketing piece in the drawer?

Bringing up this old thread, my Remline has the date stamped in right behind the badging on the inside of the drawer..mine is `64

So I spotted a Remline seven drawer bottom roller on FB $50, plus gas, cool, next problem is it was in Nevada, not far from Tahoe, well if I went up there ( 125 miles ) I would have to take the misses, if I didn't I would never here the end of it...you know Casinos and if she went the box would have cost me a grand easy....needless to say I did not go..
