tedsters,
See the link posted above for more of my comments. If I had to guess, I'd say yours fell between the two in the link above. I'd guess '60s.

That is a really nice setup. What is the red thing on the top box, right hand side?

Nice box! If you look inside the drawer behind the large Remline logo you will see a 2 digit stamped number. This is the year the box was made. I want to say early 60's as I can see from the box tag it has a 2 digit zip code on it. Zip codes went to a 5 digit number in 1963.

Great find. Your top box is the same configuration as mine. Your rolling cabinet is like mine, except missing the top 4 drawers and with a red bulk tool storage drawer (mine is grey). Your bulk tool storage door is a different color. It was probably left open for the majority of it's life, so the UV light did not get to it. If you do ever paint this box, you can get the red paint color by having this door scanned. I would guess that your roller cabinet is about 33ish inches tall. If it is, you need to scour the earth for a middle box for this stack (if one existed). Imagine you are Capt. Ahab and the middle cabinet is Moby ****.

The red thing that zkling mentioned... I am curious about it, too. Mine does not have that.

Anyone have any RemLine or Montgomery Ward catalogues with these boxes in them?

Here is mine-

Both of those are great looking stacks! I would clean but not paint. I have a similar roller, but in much worse condition.

Hemlock, can you take a picture of yours? As Outlaw says, its the GJ way.

Smokeshow, I looked in the drawer behind the Power Kraft logo (roller and top box). Nothing was stamped there. Do you know how to date boxes RemLine made for other brands?

Sorry, that is the only way I know to date the Remline boxes :( When I got mine, people on here helped me out and told me the stamped date trick. Not sure on the newer stuff.

Smokeshow. thank you anyways. I think my best shot would be to find a bunch of Montgomery Ward catalogs,
