I just picked up this REM/XQL Baron Toolbox.
Can anyone give me any information on it, possible year made, quality, where sold, overall impressions?
I can find information about Remline toolboxes and XQL toolboxes, but when I add 'Baron' to the search, I'm not finding much.
Thanks

Cool, never seen that before.
I still haven't had much luck finding similar boxes in my searches.
The thing's a tank. It weighs a ton. I had to unload it from my truck bed using the tractor.
Most of the drawers have a single built in divider, either back-to-front, or side-to-side.
Each of the drawers has a tab lock in the center of the handle (you can kind of see the in the picture of the full box). Slide the spring loaded tab to the left to open the drawers.
No keys (the one pictured fits, but doesn't turn). I think I'll take the locks down to a locksmith if I can find one that can make keys.

Looks to be an identical twin to the Cornwell "Brute" series box. I have been searching for one of these Cornwell's for a long time. I've attached some pictures I have saved online for reference. I think the Cornwell boxes are mid to late 1980's.
