I was cutting out a Harley logo on my little CNC plasma table the other day, and for some reason remembered the Cushman Scooter I got as a 13 year old. I thought I'd try my hand at it.

My 94 yo Mom had two vehicles as a teen, a Crosley and a Cushman scooter.[emoji38]
We grew up near "The City of Seven Hills", and she worked downtown. To get up 5th street hill going home to Cushman just wouldn't make it past the 5th street fire station. Every day this 6ft6" tall fireman would come out pushing her up the hill.
Years later that guy became my father-in-law, I'm still married to his daughter.

There was a big hill I could never get all the way up. I eventually fried my motor and replaced it with a Cushman Eagle motor. Then I could make it to the top. Wish I had kept it - they're going for $5K on eBay now.

I've been wondering what brand scooter my repurposed garage door opener cover was...

Real nice plasma work BTW!

Nice job.

Don't remember which model, but a neighbor was a Shriner and rode his Cushman in parades back in the 60's. I know it had a 2-speed trans with a foot clutch.

My older brother and I did a ground up restoration for him when we were 9-10 years old with a little help from dad. He was so impressed he went an bought another for us to rebuild. He owned a lumber yard and would let us ride them around out there. Lots of good memories.
