Picked this up tonight, covered in paint. Little part wash and it came right off. One thing I noticed after I got it home is it’s not the original on and off switch. Oh well. Not sure how much I’ll clean it up. Might just use it. 8” ,3/4 HP, 3450 rpms.

Is there a particular reason you keep posting import tools in the vintage section? They like the Asian stuff better in general tool discussion.

To me this is vintage. Didn’t realize I was going to offend someone by posting and the drill press I posted about earlier was from 1977, I thought that would also be considered vintage. Didn’t realize it had to be USA made to be talked about.

The vintage section isn't that old on here. It used to be all one tool section. The guys that hit up this section on a daily basis don't consider that era imported stuff vintage.

It's like going to a ********* true muscle car site and posting about a 1983 Camaro. They'll run you out of town.

Also, you might get more info on this stuff in the regular tools section anyway.
