I purchased my Remline 6 drawer top box back in the late 1970’s. It has held up okay but the chrome in the logo badge has worn off. I tried “chrome paint” pens but was dissatisfied.
Today I bought some shiny “chrome” vinyl at Michael’s. Once home, I made a duplicate Remline logo and stuck it on the old badge. I did this by taking a picture of the badge and using photoshop to isolate just the raised area to duplicate. Looks pretty good. It is not perfect but not bad. Definitely looks better than the paint. When it starts looking bad I will refine the next version to fit even better.
